A classic pale ale with a bright citrusy aroma, balanced by subtle biscuit malt and a crisp, dry finish. Easy drinking with just enough bitterness to keep things interesting.
2. Parrotdog – Raptor APA
Bold and resinous with notes of grapefruit, pine, and caramel malt. This American Pale Ale packs a flavour punch while remaining nicely balanced and highly drinkable.
3. Behemoth – Half Way Down Lager
Light-bodied and clean with soft malt sweetness and a delicate hop finish. Smooth, refreshing, and perfect for when you want a straightforward, no-nonsense beer.
4. Te Aro – Endless Cloud Session Hazy
A fluffy, tropical session hazy full of passionfruit and mango, with a low ABV that invites repeat sips. Hazy in body, light in feel, big on flavour.
5. Panhead – Pickup Hazy IPA
Juicy and full-bodied with bursts of stone fruit, pineapple, and citrus. Soft mouthfeel and a restrained bitterness make this a crowd-pleaser in the hazy category.
6. 8 Wired – Brave Old World Hefeweizen
Traditional German-style wheat beer with aromas of banana, clove, and soft spice. A creamy texture and gentle sweetness make it incredibly smooth and refreshing.
7. Townshend – Blitzgreig WCIPA
A sharp, punchy West Coast IPA with big notes of grapefruit peel, pine resin, and a lingering bitterness. Bold and assertive, this one’s for the hop heads.
8. Bach Brewing – Greats of Froth
A bright and balanced West Coast IPA with a mix of citrus and floral hops over a lean malt backbone. Clean, crisp, and refreshingly bitter.
9. Laughing Bones – Jokers Wild IPA
Hoppy and aromatic with layered tropical fruit, citrus zest, and a hint of herbal bite. Medium bitterness and a smooth finish make this one playful but well-crafted.
10. Garage Project – Spicy Pickle Beer
Zany and undeniably distinctive. Expect notes of gherkin brine, jalapeño, and subtle coriander spice over a tart, Berliner-style base. Like a pickleback cocktail in beer form.
11. Sunshine – Waves of Dawn Belgian Wit
A stunning fusion of guava, raspberry, kawakawa and hibiscus on a Belgian wit base. Fruity, herbal, slightly tart, and silky with delicate spice from the yeast.
