A session German pilsner brewed for folks like you – you’re generally a good sort, although you’ll still laugh when someone slips over. No one can be virtuous all the time – a bit like this beer. It’s a little lower in alcohol, so you can feel wholesome for a minute, but it drinks like a classic German pils. Pouring a shade of golden honey, it is clean and crisp with a firm body, and a drier finish than its Czech counterpart. German hop trio Tettnang, Saphir and Perle provide a floral aroma, and flavours of tangerine and subtle spice. Refreshing and full- flavoured with an assertive, satisfying bitterness. Perfect for smirking at other people’s misfortune.
